PROFILE

The MTDU-1 is a proprietary designed portable containment chamber for the controlled burning and destruction of small caliber ammunition, flares, and a variety of other reactive materials which cannot be deactivated or stabilized using other available technologies. Ideal for emergency response personnel connected with police bomb squads, fire departments and military EOD units. Also available to manufacturers of small caliber ammunition, flares, and related materials. (Not appropriate for the disposal of D.O.T. Category 1.1 explosives)

SPECIFICATIONS

The MTDU-1 is a 3ft. x 3ft. x 3ft. (approximate) container constructed with 3/8in. steel with a continuous feed insertion tube. The unit can also be batch fed through the front opening. The power supply is propane and gas and two 500,000 btu torches. The weight is approximately 1300 lbs. The MTDU-1 is mounted on a 5ft. x 10ft. tandem trailer with surge brakes, 2in. coupler jack and dolly wheel, new tires and rims, fender and lights. One spare tire and rim, 1/8in. diamond plate steel floor, easy lube hubs with two 3500lbs. axels. A standard operating procedure manual will be provided.

DELIVERY TIME

The MTDU-1 is available with a four to six week’s delivery time from receipt of a purchase order (P/O)

TRAINING

R.E.M.T.C. will provide user training at reasonable rates if requested. Other specialized certified training related to reactive and explosive materials is also available.
